Episcopal Youth Community, also known as EYC is open to 5th through 12th grades and currently has 14 active members. The group meets 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. after the 10:30 a.m. Sunday Service in Sengel Hall where lunch is served. All lunches are provided by individuals or church groups and are greatly appreciated.
The foundation of EYC is based on the following:
Fellowship/Fun with each other and occasionally with other Church groups.
The EYC hosts the Shrove Tuesday pancake supper & Easter Egg Hunt. They entertained the younger children with games, face painting, coloring contest and singing Christmas carols during the breakfast with St. Nick. They had a calendar sale to help raise money for the upcoming “Winter Star” weekend and to see “The Promise” in Branson.

Service within the church and community - They sponsored a food drive and donated all goods collected to Helping Hands, prepared the greenery for the making of the Advent wreathes, visit and assist with the services at the Concordia, sponsored two children from the Sharing & Caring program & started a new project “TEAM EYC” in which you hire the EYC to do work jobs for you. Not only does this raise extra money for their activities, but more important they get to know our
St. Theodore’s family.
Worship – through their attendance in Sunday school, church and participation as acolytes/ choir symbolize their commitment to God and St. Theodore’s.
Reflection – We begin each gathering with a blessing and conclude the gathering with our EYC prayer.
We invite you to become an active EYC member.
