Community of Hope
The mission of the Community of Hope is to create a Christian community of volunteer lay chaplains, united in prayer, shaped by Benedictine spirituality and equipped for pastoral care ministry.
Under the spiritual guidance of Father Parks, we have a new class of chaplains commissioned after completing 42 hours of training. Father Parks has been very helpful, and we appreciate working under his direction.
Commissioned chaplins visits include: lay Eucharistic ministry, home visits, visits to rehab centers and nursing care centers, rides to church and telephone calls.
For visitation, questions, or interest in future training, please contact our Community of Hope Coordinator. You may also contact the church or any Community of Hope member.
