Concordia Arms Ministry
Jul 21st, 2010 by jennifer
Are you ready to try something new? Sunday afternoons at 1 p.m. a few of our parishioners take turns in leading a short service (approximately 20 minutes) at The Arms of Concordia in Bella Vista. This is an assisted living facility. Many of the residents are unable to attend church, so they welcome this opportunity to join together in prayer and singing.
Additional leaders would be most welcome and appreciated. There is a small organ available for anyone who can play. If you have a keyboard or guitar, it would be great to bring that. Help with the singing is always appreciated.
If you think this is something you might like to do, you may want to observe one of these services to gain a knowledge of what a wonderful outreach this is and to see how much the residents appreciate our presence.
For further information please contact Diane Landmesser or Lana McDonald at the church office.
We would like to have more leaders available on a rotating basis or to fill in when the assigned person can’t be there due to illness or a conflict. Please give this prayerful consideration.
