Under the direction of Senior Warden Gary Lowe and Summer Christian Education Director Sharon Moravits, we will begin a Summer Sunday School program for our children beginning on June 19th from 9:30 to 10:15. This is an 8-week program that will end with an International pot-luck lunch on August 7th.
The theme of this summer’s program is “We are all one.” Each week the children will study one of the countries where there are Anglican churches. They will learn something about the culture of the country (s), the games the children play, snack foods, arts and crafts, and at the same time learn songs and prayers familiar to us and to them. While we are in some ways very different, we are also the same – We are all one.
The E.Y.C. will be responsible for certain aspects of the program. They will also serve as teachers’ aids. Gary Lowe and Sherry Little are coordinating their ministry.
If you have lived in a country other than America for a period of time and want to share some of that culture with our children, please contact Sharon Moravits 268-4396 or Fr. Ken at 855-2715. Our first two sessions will be on South America.
Please complete a registration form in the narthex. This looks like a very exciting summer at St. Theodore’s.
